сокр. ААВadeno-associated viruses (сокр. AAV)[греч. aden — железа и лат. associatio — соединение; лат. virus — яд]дефектные сателлитные (см. сателлитный вирус) парвовирусы (род Dependovirus), репродукция которых зависит от присутствия в клетке вирусапомощника (аденовируса или вируса герпеса), хотя при определенных условиях in vitro способны размножаться в культуре клеток в отсутствии вирусапомощника. Широко распространенная в природе группа вирусов, способных поражать человека, приматов, копытных и птиц. Геном педставлен одноцепочечной ДНК размером около 5 тыс. п.н.; капсид состоит из 12 пентамеров, 20 тримеров и 60 мономеров. При инфекции клеток геном А.в. способен интегрировать в состав хозяйской хромосомы. Места интеграции в составе хромосомы являются специфическими для некоторых типов клетокхозяев.
